When life pulls us into our heads or outward into constant stimulation, somatic breathwork offers a way to return to the body and create space to feel, settle, and listen.
Somatic Breathwork:Somatic breathwork sessions are held as a nervous-system–led practice to support nervous system flexibility, gently release held tension or emotion, and strengthen your relationship with your body.
Sessions are guided and structured, combining conscious breathing, somatic awareness, grounding, and music to support a contained and supportive experience. There is no right way to experience a session. Whether you’re seeking calm, clarity, or simply a pause, this work offers space for whatever is present.

Looking for a blended approach?
For those who feel drawn to breathwork and Reiki, I offer an integrated session that blends the two.
Breathwork invites awareness and reconnection. Reiki supports rest and integration. Together, they create a balanced and supportive experience.
Somatic breathwork goes beyond simply changing how we feel in the moment.
It offers a gentle way to work with held tension, unprocessed emotion, and patterns that live in the body, often without conscious awareness. Through conscious, connected breathing, we create the conditions for what’s ready to move, integrate, or settle to do so at its own pace.
This is a practice that has deeply shaped my own relationship with my body, helping me reconnect, release long-held tension, and create more space to meet myself with honesty and care. I share this work not to promise transformation, but because I’ve seen how subtle, consistent practices can support meaningful change over time.
Whether you’re navigating something significant, looking for calm within a full life, or simply curious about deepening your connection to yourself, this practice offers a way in.
There is space for you here.
Why Breathwork:My approach to somatic breathwork is trauma-informed, nervous-system–led, and consent-first.
Sessions are held with an emphasis on safety, pacing, and choice. Rather than using the breath to push for release or intensity, we work gently with what’s already present, allowing the body to lead the process.
This work is about building trust with your body, not overriding it. We move slowly, check in often, and adapt the session to support your system in the moment.
Sessions are structured and gently guided.
We begin with a short check-in to understand how you’re arriving, followed by guided somatic breathwork that is paced responsively. The breathwork may be supported by grounding practices, somatic awareness, and carefully chosen music to create a held and contained experience.
There is no pressure to perform or have a particular experience. Some sessions feel subtle and settling, while others may bring sensation, emotion, or insight. All responses are valid.
You are always in control. You can pause, adjust, or stop at any point, and we always leave time at the end to rest and integrate.

Somatic breathwork is generally accessible for most people, but it may not be suitable for everyone. This style of breathwork is not recommended if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, or have a heart condition. If you’re unsure whether it’s right for you, you’re very welcome to get in touch before booking and we can talk it through.
-
Somatic breathwork is not a replacement for therapy, but it can complement other forms of support. It focuses on body-based awareness and nervous system regulation rather than talking through experiences.
-
That’s completely okay. Not every session involves strong sensation or emotion. Subtle experiences are just as meaningful, and the work unfolds over time.

You are always in control. You can pause, change your breathing, or stop altogether at any point. We work collaboratively and adjust the session to support safety and choice.
